Christine
Anne - a little
about me -
Learning to sew at the age of 8,
my childhood hobby
of sewing doll
clothes quickly
became a passion.
Taking the basics of
sewing I learned
from my mother I continued to teach
myself using patterns.
I began my formal education in sewing with a class in high school and received
a Bachelor of Fine
Arts in Fashion
Design from the
International
Academy of
Merchandise and
Design in Chicago,
Illinois. Over the
years I have developed
my talent and skills including a keen eye for detail.
My passion for design and love of fabric lead
me to a career in designing custom fit gowns.
I enjoy the hours I
spend creating a gown that is as unique as the woman wearing it rather than producing a gown that just anyone can wear.

Branching out on my
own
After working for
two known Custom
Bridal Designers in
Chicago, I opened my
own shop in 2003,
specializing in
bridal couture.
“Christine Anne
COUTURE” is located
in historic downtown Libertyville, Illinois.
Over the past 16 years
I have designed
countless custom fit
bridal gowns and
special occasions
dresses. I am inspired by high quality fabrics and the challenge to create a gown that fits
my client perfectly.
I work with fine silks, satins, taffeta, organza, chiffon, shantung laces and other beautiful fabrics. Trims, ribbons, crystals and rhinestones are a few of the embellishments used to complete the design. Each gown is meticulously crafted and hand finished according to the high standard of workmanship
I have developed
over my career.
Building relationships.
I work one-on-one with
each client. Getting to
know my client and the
details of the event
help to create the
perfect gown. What makes
it perfect is not the
fit as much as a sense
of who the woman is and
that she’s made the
dress part of her.
